In this video, brought to you by Skil, learn how to make two of the most useful and standard cuts for a table saw: rip and cross cuts. Rip cuts go the length of the workpiece and with the grain. Cross cuts cut across the width of the board and against the grain To make a rip cut, set blade to height. Raise the blade until the gullets are just above the top of the board. Position the rip vents and lock it down. To make a cross cut position the miter gauge. Set the blade height and position the work piece. The miter gauge allows for a even clean cut as you slide the workpiece through the blade. For more helpful videos like this visit https://www.Lowes.com/Videos.
