When your grill is warm, but not hot, wipe the inside of the lid with a warm wet sponge or cloth or a crumpled piece of aluminum foil. This will help keep natural carbon build up from accumulating inside the lid. Brush the cooking grates clean with a stainless steel grill brush and then remove them. Then brush the flavorizer bars with the brush. Remove the flavorizer bars and set them aside. Use a plastic putty knife to scrape the grease from the bottom of the cookbox on the inside of the drip tray, scraping the bits into the catch pan. Then wash the inside of the grill with a warm wet sponge, taking care not to get water in the burner tubes. Replace the flavorizer bars and cooking grates. Dispose of the contents in the disposable foil pan and replace with a new one. For more helpful videos like this visit Weber Genesis gas grills at Lowe's: http://www.Lowes.com/Weber
